Chicken Hair Clip, Speckled Hand-Painted Basswood Barrette | Custom Colors | Glossy Finish

Celebrate your favorite feathered friends with these hand-painted chicken hair clips. Choose from the chickens shown, request a different color or breed, or have one painted to look like a chicken from your own flock.

Want a custom chicken? Send me a photo through Etsy messages and I'll use it as inspiration to create your own tiny hand-painted hen.

Each chicken begins with my original artwork, which is laser engraved and cut from American basswood. The design is then individually hand painted and sealed with a glossy protective finish before being attached to a sturdy metal hair clip.
